Located within a large recreational precinct in Rockingham, Western Australia, the Anniversary Park Clubroom Refurbishment is a community infrastructure project that upgrades an existing facility to meet contemporary standards for inclusivity, accessibility, and functionality. The site features two Australian Rules football ovals, a playspace, the Rockingham Men’s Shed, and serves as the home base for the Rockingham Rams Football, Sporting and Social Club supporting over 650 members across multiple age groups.
The refurbishment focuses on enhancing the usability and flexibility of the pavilion, with key upgrades including an expanded multipurpose clubroom, gender-inclusive change rooms (home, away, and umpire), a first aid room, accessible toilets, storage facilities, improved parking, and integrated pedestrian pathways. The project is guided by the Anniversary Park Master Plan and forms part of the City of Rockingham’s Community Infrastructure Plan.
Decobu was engaged by Mode Design to deliver comprehensive mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and fire engineering design services, supporting the project through concept development, detailed documentation, tendering, and construction phase technical input.
