Project Overview

Located on the coast of Rottnest Island, Pinky’s Eco Retreat is a hospitality destination that enhances one of Western Australia’s most iconic island settings. The development delivers vibrant dining spaces, guest-focused amenities, and operational facilities designed to provide a memorable coastal experience while supporting efficient day-to-day operations.

Decobu was engaged in the transformation of the beach club to deliver comprehensive mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and fire (MEPF) building services design. The design emphasised operational efficiency, energy optimisation, occupant comfort, and seamless integration with the existing infrastructure to ensure reliable performance in a unique island environment.

Working closely with Pinky’s Beach Pty Ltd and the project team, Decobu implemented tailored engineering solutions that enhanced operational functionality, supported construction timelines, and delivered sustainable building performance. The result is a high-performing hospitality venue that combines functionality, safety, and efficiency within one of Western Australia’s most celebrated coastal destinations.
