Located at 117–119 Scarborough Beach Road, Scarborough, Western Australia, this purpose-built childcare facility was developed to enhance access to early education in a high-demand coastal suburb. The centre is designed to support modern childcare operations, featuring multiple learning rooms, administrative areas, and a secure, landscaped outdoor play space tailored to the needs of young children.
Decobu was engaged by FDC Construction & Fitout (WA) Pty Ltd to deliver comprehensive building services design across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic disciplines. Our team developed systems that aligned with the specific requirements of childcare operations, while also ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and long-term energy and water efficiency goals.
Design solutions prioritised indoor air quality, thermal comfort, lighting design suitable for early learning environments, and water-efficient systems. Decobu collaborated closely with the builder and consultants to ensure that all services were integrated seamlessly and delivered within project timelines.
