The Eliwana Aerodrome forms part of Fortescue’s Eliwana mining operations in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. The aerodrome provides essential aviation infrastructure supporting fly-in fly-out (FIFO) operations and site connectivity for personnel and equipment.
Decobu was engaged to deliver mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and fire protection engineering design for the facility’s non-process infrastructure. The services design focused on reliable system performance, operational safety, and integration within the aerodrome’s supporting buildings and facilities.
Working closely with the project team, Decobu developed coordinated engineering solutions suited to the demands of remote operations while ensuring compliance with applicable standards and operational requirements.
